A special 5-track EP on offer for you here: Blakbody & C Mantle showcase two of their finest tracks, with three remixes. This is IDM of the sort that not many release these days; introspective, detailed and at times hard to follow, but with an ineffable 'IDM' beauty too. Perhaps a rather unfashionable descriptor these days, the tracks here are , however, unapologetically IDM: mid-tempo, deeply intricate, impossible to dance to stuff; definite (and maybe definitive) home-listening for late-night heads. This is the kind of shit that demands repeat listens and grows every time you do so, tracks to lose yourself in: fractured, drawn out stuttering beats subverting the haunting atmospherics.
