Ist nie nie is the deeply impressive debut album from the pan-European collaboration that is Trzåsk. Based in Scotland, Poland and Estonia, the trio have created an album that challenged their musicianship and pushed their boundaries, resulting in a tense yet masterful offering suffused with disquiet, disharmony and angst. Ist nie nie is dense, full of textured, bludgeoning noise, opaque vocals and horror, offset by occasional glimmers of lightness, of melody. This is very much for fans of TG, Coil, Einstürzende Neubauten, Swans or Siekiera.

They write:

"Trzåsk came out of heads of three individuals who decided to make sounds venturing into unfamiliar musical territories. All of the music derived from improvised sessions. To ensure a unique feel we avoided playing instruments with which we were comfortable; rather, we used novel instruments which we swapped between tracks. In addition the lyrics were written in Polish but in order to amplify the strangeness of the tracks a non-native speaker sang them."
