After appearing on our latest free compilation, ISVII, we welcome back Poland's Kwasior to Acre with a beautiful and beguiling four track E.P. of intricate (no, we don't like the name either) 'intelligent dance music'. With appearances on AMENOREA & Sociopath Recordings, along with a handful of compilation contributions, Kwasior further hones his sonic styles, melding the afore mentioned beauty (Cleaning Spaces) with stuttering, fractured beats and rhythms, reverb-drenched AE-like synth work (VCV & Echo) before closing with a more classically IDM themed piece (Barrier). Whilst clearly influenced by the sounds and tropes of IDM in its heyday Outer Barrier offers its own more current take, demanding repeat listens. These are tracks to get lost in.
